Buy and Sell Things Safely in Your Local Community
How to buy and sell locally in India without turning your house into a showroom — public meetups, proof, and no in-app payments.

A neighbourhood marketplace is useful because pickup is a walk or a short ride. It is risky when you treat a stranger like a cousin.
Locza marketplace does not process payments. You settle in person. That is a feature, not a missing checkout.
Before you list
Price in the range people in your pocket actually pay. “PS5 Slim, ₹38,000, Sector 70” is clearer than “gaming console urgent sale.” Add one defect.
Before you go
- Meet in a public place — market, society gate with a guard, cafe.
- Take a friend for expensive items.
- See it work. A monitor that “definitely turns on” should turn on.
- Do not share OTP, remote-access apps, or “hold” money on a strange UPI request.
For buyers
If the seller will only meet at a lonely plot after 10pm, walk away. If the price is half of every other Phase 7 listing, walk away.
FAQ
Does Locza escrow money?
No.
Can I report a scam listing?
Yes, in the app. Also tell neighbours in a factual way — no pile-on.
Read local services if what you need is a person, not a thing.
