How to find nearby businesses you will actually use — walk the cluster, ask a neighbour, then check hours. City-wide “best of” lists come last.

“Businesses near me” should mean a ride you will take on a Tuesday. If the list starts with a destination mall 40 minutes away, the software is solving tourism.
Walk the cluster first
Every Indian neighbourhood has a 200-metre habit: milk, chemist, photocopy, chai. Notice what is already there before you open an app.
Then ask for a constraint
“Cafe with sockets before 9” is a search. “Good cafe” is a mood. Put the constraint in the Locza feed or in a recommendation.
Then check the boring facts
Hours. Weekly off. Whether they pack. Whether the clinic takes walk-ins. Business pages are for that — not for a brand film.
Locality pages help the index
Sector 71 and Phase 7 are different commercial textures. Do not merge them because both say Mohali on the PIN code.
FAQ
Will Locza claim businesses are verified?
Only if the product actually verifies them. This website does not invent that badge.
What about chains?
Chains are fine. They still need the right branch. Distance first.
